SPS Technologies was originally founded in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, in 1903 as the Standard Pressed Steel Company. Products

• Bolts: This division includes standard and special head configuration bolts, made from alloy steel, corrosion-resistant steel, titanium, and a broad number of superalloys like INCONEL, WASPALOY, and MP35N. SPS also manufactures major recess drive bolts and screws such as Tri-Wing, Torx, Hi-Torque, and more in a variety of configurations.
• Nuts: SPS Technologies manufactures, hex, double hex, and spline drive self-locking nuts in a variety of sizes ranging from microsize to 2.5 inches in diameter. Configurations available include castellated, lightweight, self-aligning, close clearance, captive washer, flanged, shear, and more. A range of finish options are available including cadmium, zinc, dull nickel, black oxide, silver, and dry film lube.
• Washers: SPS’s washers are used in critical joints to distribute load and indicate preload during installation. Available in hex, double hex, and spline drive self-locking forms and castellated, self-aligning, flanged, captive washer, and more configurations, SPS-manufactured washers come in both unified and metric sizes.
